Child Safety Standards

1. Our Commitment
Amicorum Festival Companion ("Amicorum," "we," "our," or "us") maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) of any kind. We are committed to creating a safe environment for all users and to preventing our platform from being used to harm children in any way. This policy applies to all content, profiles, interactions, and communications on our platform.
Zero tolerance: Any content, behavior, or activity that sexually exploits or endangers children is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination and reporting to the relevant authorities.
2. Prohibited Content and Conduct
The following are strictly prohibited on Amicorum:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, including AI-generated material
- Solicitation or grooming of minors
- Any content that sexualizes minors
- Sharing, requesting, or distributing exploitative material involving minors
- Any communication intended to facilitate the sexual exploitation of a child
- Sextortion or coercion of minors
3. Detection and Prevention
Amicorum employs the following measures to prevent and detect CSAE on our platform:
- Content moderation: User-generated content, including profile images, is subject to review and moderation
- User reporting: In-app reporting tools allow any user to flag concerning content or behavior for immediate review
- Account enforcement: Accounts found violating these standards are immediately suspended and permanently banned
- Age requirements: Our service is not intended for users under the age of 13, as stated in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service
4. Reporting and Response
When potential CSAE is identified, whether through user reports, content moderation, or other means, Amicorum takes the following actions:
- Immediate removal: Violating content is removed promptly upon detection
- Account action: The offending account is immediately suspended and permanently banned
- Authority reporting: Confirmed or suspected CSAM is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via CyberTipline and to the relevant national or regional authorities
- Evidence preservation: Relevant data is preserved as required by law for use by law enforcement
- Cooperation: We fully cooperate with law enforcement investigations related to child exploitation
5. In-App Reporting
Users can report child safety concerns directly within the app. All reports are reviewed promptly and treated with the highest priority.

6. Compliance
Amicorum complies with all applicable child safety laws and regulations, including but not limited to:
- U.S. federal law, including 18 U.S.C. § 2258A (mandatory reporting of CSAM)
- The EU Directive 2011/93/EU on combating sexual abuse and exploitation of children
- Applicable national and regional laws in all jurisdictions where we operate
7. Updates to These Standards
We regularly review and update our child safety standards to reflect evolving best practices, legal requirements, and platform capabilities. Material changes will be noted with an updated revision date at the top of this page.
