Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Amicorum ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Amicorum is a social coordination app for festival-goers. It allows you to browse festival timetables, bookmark sets, create or join invite-only squads with friends, share schedules and optional festival locations within your squads, and post short RaveLog videos to destinations you select.

3. User Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the App
• You must sign in with Apple or Google to access account features such as squads and bookmarks
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must provide accurate information when creating your profile
• You may delete your account at any time by contacting us

4. Usage Rules

• Use the App only for its intended purpose of festival coordination and social planning
• Do not use the App for unlawful purposes
• Do not attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or otherwise derive the source code of the App
• Do not use the App to harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Do not create accounts for the purpose of spamming or misleading other users
• Do not upload inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content as your profile photo or display name

5. User Content and Data

• You retain ownership of content you upload, including profile information and RaveLogs
• You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content only as needed to operate the App and the destinations you select
• By using squads, you consent to sharing your bookmarked schedule with squad members
• A personal RaveLog is available only to you; a squad RaveLog is available to current members of the selected squad
• You are solely responsible for content you share through the App
• We may remove content that violates these terms and may suspend or terminate accounts responsible for serious or repeated violations

6. Optional Location Sharing

• Location sharing is optional, off by default, and is not required to use non-location features
• Locations are shared only with authenticated current members of your invite-only festival squads
• If you enable automatic sharing, your location is updated periodically while the App is open and an eligible festival sharing window is active
• You may instead send a one-time location, turn off future automatic updates, or delete your current pin
• Location information can be delayed or inaccurate and must not be used for emergencies or personal safety decisions

7. Intellectual Property

• The App and its original content, features, and functionality remain our exclusive property
• Our trademarks and branding may not be used without prior written permission
• Festival data (artist names, set times, stage information) is provided for informational purposes and belongs to the respective festival organizers

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Accuracy or completeness of festival timetable data
• Fitness for any particular purpose
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Availability of the service at all times

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App
• We are not responsible for missed sets, scheduling conflicts, or reliance on timetable data
• We are not liable for actions of other users within your squads
• Total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the App

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Apple-Required Terms

• These terms are between you and Amicorum only, not Apple
• Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support services for the App
• In the event of a warranty failure, Apple may refund the purchase price (if any)
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims related to the App
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms
• You must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflicts of law principles.
